By booking a lesson, I agree to the following:
- I understand that riding at any standard has inherent risk and that all horses may react unpredictably on occasions.
- I may fall off and could be injured. I accept that risk.
- I understand that instructions are given for my safety and agree to follow instructions given to me by staff and instructors at the riding school.
- I reserve the right not to ride a horse allocated to me and may request a change of instructor.
- I understand that wearing an appropriate riding hat and body protector may reduce the severity of an injury should an accident happen and agree that I will always wear a riding hat that meets current British standards whilst riding, leading and grooming horses at the riding school. I understand it is my choice whether or not I wear a body protector. I understand that I must wear gloves when leading or riding horses at the centre.
- I understand that the riding school will make decisions based on information I give them and agree to always be honest and volunteer information about:
- my abilities and riding experience
- any previous riding accidents
- any medical condition(s) which may affect my ability to ride
- I understand that children are at particular risk around horses and agree that I will keep any children that I am responsible for, under close supervision when they are not being instructed by the riding school.
- I understand that the riding school may refuse my request to ride for safety and operational reasons.
- I understand that competing carries enhanced risk over and above general riding and agree that if I chose to participate in any competition or event, it is up to me to ensure that I have the experience and ability to ride the course including any jumps which form part of it. If I am in any doubt, I will use my judgement and experience and not enter.
- TPEC reserves the right to change instructors where necessary. The Centre endeavours not to do this but on occasion, it cannot be avoided. I may request a change of instructor if I wish.
- I reserve the right to not ride a horse/pony allocated to me and may request a specific horse/pony by adding a note to my booking. TPEC are unable to guarantee specific horses or ponies. Suitable horses/ponies are allocated according to my height, weight & ability.
- TPEC reserves the right to measure my height & weight and check it is correct on my ECPro account.
- DATA PROTECTION: I understand that information I provide will be held in accordance with data protection laws but may also be made available to insurers and other parties in the event of any injuries or accident.
Payments

Payment for lessons, hacks, and activities is made through your ECPro account.

Full payment will be taken at the time of booking for all types of lessons, hacks, and activities.
Changes & Cancellations

Our cancellation policy is strictly 24 hours.

If you cancel your lesson/activity within this period, you will not receive a refund or credit. The same thing applies if you wish to change the booking within 24 hours of your scheduled lesson/activity.

If you wish to cancel or move your booking outside of this 24hr period, you will be refunded in credit on your ECPro account. You can cancel or edit your bookings on your ECPro account under "Lesson Bookings."
Credit or Tokens on Account
Change of Instructors
- TPEC reserves the right to change instructors where necessary. We endeavour not to do this but on occasion, it cannot be avoided. You may request a change of instructor if you wish.
Horse/Pony Allocations
- You reserve the right to not ride a horse/pony allocated to you and may request a specific horse/pony by adding a note to your booking. TPEC are unable to guarantee specific horses or ponies. Suitable horses/ponies are allocated according to your height, weight & ability.
Rider Information
- TPEC reserves the right to measure your height & weight and check it is correct on your ECPro account.
